A restored 18th-century fort turned museum, just steps from the Corniche.
The museum is housed in Ajman Fort, originally built using coral stone, gypsum, and mudbrick. It once served as the ruler’s palace and later as a police station before becoming a public museum.
Ajman Museum
Today, it showcases the life and culture of Ajman’s past. Inside, you’ll find old manuscripts, pearl-diving tools, traditional clothing, and models of ancient markets and homes. Visitors can also see artifacts from burial sites that date back thousands of years.
